Short Bio:

Anya Agopian joined the Turpanjian College of Health Sciences at AUA in 2021. She teaches graduate courses in epidemiology as well as an undergraduate health course. She has worked both in governmental and academic settings, working on a variety of infectious disease surveillance systems and projects. Her work and research have focused on the intersection between infectious disease prevention and behaviors, using surveillance and systematic data collection to help inform public health activities and policy.
