Short Bio:

Lilianna Edilyan earned her diploma at Moscow State Linguistic University and MA in TEFL at the American University of Armenia and is currently a lecturer at AUA. She is the author of three ESP books and has several articles published in TESOL international journals. In 1990 she took Advanced Professional Training Course for Soviet Teachers of English at the Institute for Applied Language Studies at Edinburgh University in Scotland. In 1988 and 1982 she took Four-month Advanced Professional Training at Moscow State University. She took a two-year Advanced Professional Degree Training at Morris Torrez Institute of Foreign Languages in Moscow. This degree in methodology and pedagogy qualified her as an instructor to teach at the University level and conferred the title of “Senior Lecturer”. She helped to start teaching the writing course at Yerevan State University and supervised the creation of a textbook series.
