Short Bio:
Dr Sevag Agop has served as an adjunct lecturer at the American University of Armenia since 2021. He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees cum laude in Mathematics at the University of Aleppo, before his master of science degree in Economics at the American University of Armenia. Then he earned his PhD degree in Economics from the Catholic University in Milan. He has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and economics in Armenia, Italy, and Syria. His main research interests are macroeconomic models that incorporate microfoundations. He has developed DSGE models with financial frictions, and currently is working on CGE models that can be implemented for policy analysis in Armenia.
