My view: (Please briefly describe your view on the three concepts below)

PhD, Health Services Research, University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I have been intensively involved in quantitative and qualitative research and program development in Armenia throughout my work experience. I have led several research projects at CHSR as the Principal Investigator and served as primary and secondary advisor for MPH thesis projects on multiple public health topics. I have authored peer- reviewed publications and have presented my work at international scientific meetings and conferences, as detailed in my CV. My interests include socio-economic determinants of health, health-related behavior change, and program development and evaluation. Also, I have been extensively involved in the coordination and supervision of the projects at Meghrigian Institute for Preventive Ophthalmology at the Turpanjian School of Public Health focusing on ophthalmic epidemiology and quality of life research. I have expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodology.

Short Bio:

Dr. Tsovinar Harutyunyan is an Associate Professor at the Gerald and Patricia Turpanjian College of Health Sciences (CHS) of the American University of Armenia (AUA). Dr. Harutyunyan earned her PhD in Health Services Research from the College of Health and Human Sciences of the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte in 2011. She obtained her MPH degree from the American University of Armenia in 1999. After graduating from AUA, she worked for more than 7 years at the Center for Health Services Research and Development. Currently Dr. Harutyunyan teaches graduate courses in social and behavioral sciences in public health, public health problem solving, and research seminars. Dr. Harutyunyan has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented her work at international scientific meetings and conferences.
